We loved: the Happy Hour where we got to know other residents over our two night stay; the location of the hotel only five minutes walk to the Silverton train station; easy parking; good breakfast and all day coffee/hot chocolate machine outside the lift; comfortable beds and a good shower; friendly, helpful staff; very useful fridge in our room. I last stayed in Durango 25 years ago and much has changed but Main Street (a few minutes walk from hotel) is still fun to explore. We found a great open air first floor bar with lively atmosphere and good food only a few minutes walk from the hotel. Good pizza nearby too. All the rooms are located on the floors around and above the ground floor centrally located pool, so quite public if you want to swim! We had a balcony (dark) but it wasn't conducive to sitting out on it, so wouldn't rush to book a balcony again. Room rates were not cheap but the bonus of the Happy Hour and the convenience of the location and parking our car opposite the main entrance, definitely made our stay enjoyable, thank you.

There was a very nice, large breakfast. And the happy hour with free drinks was very nice. It was also very quiet, and rooms were comfortable.

Excellent location downtown. We came to ride the Train, so it was close by. Parking is pretty good.

Location is excellent. After checking in, we walked to Durango Main Street. Kids were happy that full breakfast included a waffle maker. Front desk gave us ear plugs for sleep, a doggie treat bag, and a bed spread to put on top of the bed for our mini pincher. An extra $30 daily fee for pet stay, was not bad, on top of the $300/night stay. Kids were excited to see the train station rail yard next to the parking lot.

Other than the lack of parking for a rental car that resulted in a ticket, the hotel itself was clean they should advertise that there’s no parking for their guest prior to Them staying for over a week

The staff were super helpful. We were having car troubles and had to book it at the last minute; they let us check in early to drop all our stuff off before taking the car to a mechanic. The free hot breakfast and happy hour drinks were a nice little bonus too! The location is very close to the downtown, you can walk to everything!

Attractive exterior. Kristi @ front desk was outstanding. hotel is close to restaurants, shops & attractions, within walking distance. comfy room. plenty of towels & toiletries. beautiful pool & hot tub in atrium. free cocktails in evening & hot breakfast in morning. Our kind of place!

The staff hands down makes this place phenomenal. Very helpful with everything even going above and beyond when we had a car battery problem. Additionally the rooms were clean and while we didn't do happy hr ourselves because we had plans downtown, we did notice others partaking in the drinks and live music. Breakfast was really nice - lots of options including Cereal, pastries, yogurt, oatmeal and hot options of eggs, bacon, potatoes and a waffle station.

Really appreciated the warm coffee drinks available all day long. Our king bed room with sofa sleeper was very roomy. Free breakfast offered lots of delicious options. Free drinks every evening was a super nice treat. Hotel is walking distance to the Silverton Train Station and many shops and restaurants.

The breakfast was excellent, the inside pool was great for winter, the free happy hour at night was a real bonus, as was the coffee al day. Perfect place to meet for family reunion. I would give all of this a 10 out of 10.
